Bentworth Stream was a tributary of the River Wey that ran through the East Hampshire district of Hampshire, England. It formerly started its course near the centre of the village of Bentworth and stretched from the neighbouring Lasham, Shalden and adjoined the River Wey into Alton. Its total length was approximately 2 miles (3.2 km).

Course

According to village locals the Bentworth Stream started below the present day Sun Inn until nearby waterworks extraction were built at the bottom of Well Lane.[1] The stream then began to disappear shortly after the stream was extracted from the valley. Bentworth Stream and most of the village's adjacent ponds completely disappeared in the latter half of the 20th century.[1]
