Benny Lewis

Brendan Richard "Benny" Lewis is an author, polyglot, language teacher, and "technomad language hacker".[1][2][3] Born in Ireland, he graduated in electronic engineering and then spent six months in Spain struggling to learn Spanish. His frustration with conventional methods led him to take a different approach, as described in his book Fluent in 3 Months.[4] He has given two talks on TEDx.[5][6] In 2013, he was named a "Traveler of the Year" by National Geographic magazine.[7]
