Benipatti is a subdivision (Anumandal in Hindi) in Madhubani, District of Bihar, India

Culture

Benipatti is well known for its historical place called Uchaith Bhagwati Sthan dedicated to the Goddess Maa Ucchaith Wasini (कालिदास को विद्वान बनाने वाली माता).

The native language of the Benipatti nearby village is Maithili. The nearest railway station is Madhubani Station where trains to Delhi, Calcutta and Mumbai are available.

Economy

People of this village and Mithilanchal's peoples are very attached to each other through human relation which looks very natural. Nearby villagers commute to Benipatti to shop for daily use goods. In Benipatti, Behta Haat which is famous for food grains business and also cattle sale, is close west to the town, this is one of the biggest Anaj Mandi in the state. Benipatti is connected by road to the state capital Patna and also to bordering towns of Nepal, Madhawapur.

A reputed Government Boy's high school named S.L. High School is also famous in the region with old historic buildings and huge grounds.
