Ben Walden

Ben Walden (born 10 August 1969) is an English actor and the son of Brian Walden, former politician and political commentator. Ben is known for The Camomile Lawn (1992), The Man Who Cried (1993), Martin Chuzzlewit (1994) and High Heels and Low Lifes (2001). He also appeared in Band of Brothers (2001).

Career

In 1997, he acted in Thomas Middleton's play, A Chaste Maid in Cheapside, at Shakespeare's Globe theatre in London with Rory Edwards, John McEnery, Eve Matheson, Mark Rylance and Vincent Brimble in the cast. Malcolm McKay was director.^[1]

In 1998, he acted in William Shakespeare's play, Richard III at the Pleasance Theatre in London with Eddie Marsan, Michael Matus, Margaret Robertson, David Weston, Luisa Bradshaw-White and Ruth Platt in the cast. Guy Retallack was director.^[2]

In 1999, he acted in Shakespeare's play Antony and Cleopatra at the Bankside Globe Theatre in London with Paul Shelley; Mark Rylance (Cleopatra); John McEnery; Danny Sapani (Charmian); Mark Lewis Jones; and Toby Cockerell (Octavia) in the cast. Giles Block was director.^[3]
