Ben Maddahi

Ben Maddahi is the current president of Artist Publishing Group (APG) and Vice President of A&R for Artist Partners/Warner Music Group. He also works on the management team for world renowned DJ and producer David Guetta.

Maddahi began his career in the music industry as an intern and consultant at Atlantic Records, and has since succeeded in several facets of the music industry, ranging from record label and publishing A&R to producer and songwriter management. Maddahi worked with APG's founder and CEO, Mike Caren, for 4 years before becoming partners with him in December 2010. Caren concurrently serves as President of Global A&R for Warner Music Group.

Maddahi's A&R credits include songs such as "Titanium" by David Guetta, "Tonight (I'm Lovin' You) by Enrique Iglesias feat. Ludacris, "Wild Ones" by Flo Rida feat. Sia (musician), "Yeah 3X" by Chris Brown, "Timber (song)" by Pitbull (rapper), "Wiggle (song)" by Jason Derulo feat. Snoop Dogg and "Dangerous (David Guetta song)" by David Guetta feat. Sam Martin (singer) and "See You Again (Wiz Khalifa song)" by Wiz Khalifa feat. Charlie Puth. He is also responsible for helping put together songs for artists such as Kanye West, Black Eyed Peas, Justin Bieber, Maroon 5, Big Sean, Future and others. Ben has served as co-A&R for Flo Rida, and co-signed artists such as Charlie Puth, Spenzo and Max Elto to Atlantic Records[1]

Producer and Songwriter Management

Ben currently manages notable producer/songwriters DJ Frank E, SoFLY and Nius, Sermstyle, James "JHart'' Abrahart, as well as serves on the management team for David Guetta.

Accolades

Two projects that Maddahi worked on as an A&R were nominated for Grammy Awards - David Guetta's "'Nothing But The Beat" (2011) for Best Dance/Electronica Album and Flo Rida's "Wild Ones" feat. Sia (musician) (2012) for Best Rap/Sung Collaboration

In 2011, Maddahi was also listed in Billboard Magazine's "30 Under 30", which highlights some of the most notable music industry executives under the age of 30.
