Ben-Ryan Davies (born 30 December 1988) is an English actor, born in Rochdale. He is best known for his role in BBC One's Rough Diamond. He also played Ronan Burley in Waterloo Road.

Career

Ben Davies appeared in his first national TV and print ad campaign while he was still in diapers. As an athlete, Track & Field News ranked him the No. 1 high school decathlete in the nation in 2008.

From September 2010, appeared in Waterloo Road playing character Ronan Burley. His last episode was in 2012 in series 7 episode 20. As well as a guest appearance in episode 30. Davies was named "Best Athlete" of his college conference in 2013.

In 2014 he was also playing a character in CBBC Harriet's Army which is about World War I. He plays Edward Grange, the elder brother of Harriett (played by Ciara Baxendale).

Courageous (in theaters 2011) was Davies's first co-starring role in a feature film. He finished his last exam and headed to the movie set. The next summer, Davies filmed New Hope and won "Best Supporting Actor" at the Kingdomwood Film Festival. During his college career Davies has booked lead roles in 6 feature films while managing to make the Dean's List. Davies received the "Light in Hollywood" award and strives to be a role model.

In addition to acting, Davies is a popular public speaker (Premiere Speakers Bureau-agent) who enjoys sharing his faith and encouraging others. Davies has also starred in an episode of Dani's Castle. He played Jimmys best friend before he moved to Ireland
