Belvoir Park Golf Club

Coordinates: 54°33′43″N 5°55′05″W / 54.562°N 5.918°W The Belvoir Park Golf Club is located on Church Road, Belfast, Northern Ireland. The course has eighteen holes with a par of 71.

The course was founded in 1927 and was designed by the famous golf course architect Harry Colt. Playing just under 6,600 yards, Belvoir Park has played host to several championships including the Irish Open in the late 1940s and the early 1950s. The winner on that occasion, Harry Bradshaw claimed afterwards that it was "the best inland course I have ever played".[1] The course also hosted the Irish PGA Championship in 1995.

Many famous golfers such as Peter Allis and Fred Daly have rated Belvoir Park one of the best inland courses in the British Isles.[2]

The course was founded in 1927 and was designed by the famous golf course architect Harry Colt. Playing 6270yards from the yellow par 71, 6685yards par 71 from the white and approximately 6800yards par 70 from the blue tees, Belvoir Park has played host to several championships including the Irish Open in the late 1940s and the early 1950s. The winner on that occasion, Harry Bradshaw claimed afterwards that it was "the best inland course I have ever played".[1] The course also hosted the Irish PGA Championship in 1995. Many famous golfers such as Peter Allis and Fred Daly have rated Belvoir Park one of the best inland courses in the British Isles.[2] It most recently held the Irish Amateur close in 2009 and also the British Ladies amateur championship in 2011.

The course is situated close to Belfast city centre, about 15 minutes drive from the city airport.
