Belvoir High School is a coeducational secondary school with academy status, located in Bottesford in the English county of Leicestershire.[1] The school also operates Melton Vale Post 16 Centre in Melton Mowbray.
Originally a middle school, Belvoir High School changed its intake in 2008 and became a secondary school for pupils aged 11 to 16. It converted to academy status in October 2012, however the school continues to coordinate with Leicestershire County Council for admissions.
Belvoir High School offers GCSEs and BTECs as programmes of study for pupils.[2] Graduating students usually attend Melton Vale Post 16 Centre or Brooksby Melton College.[3]
Melton Vale Post 16 Centre
Melton Vale Post 16 Centre (MV16)[4] is a sixth form centre located in Melton Mowbray in Leicestershire. It is operated by Belvoir High School and was established in 2011.[3]
It is the largest provider of academic sixth form education in the Borough of Melton, while Brooksby Melton College offers a range of vocational courses. Courses offered to students at Melton Vale Post 16 Centre include a range of A Levels and a smaller number of BTECs.[5]
