Belthara Road is a street that extends from Chaukiya mod (turn) to Madhuban Dhala and to Kundail Dhala.[1] The two main parts of Belthara link the bus station to Chaukiya mod and Tinmuhani to the railway station. Along these two roads, there is the main market of Belthara. At Tinmuhani (officially "Chaudhari Charan Singh Tinmuhani"), one can get vehicles to nearby villages especially on Belthara-Nagara marg. Sikanderpur, Ballia, and Gorakhpur pass through Ubhaon.
Approximately 2,000 people travel from the Belthara road station daily.
The Bichla pokhra is the Centre of Town, Area is the sign of pure communal harmony as we can find Jama Masjid, Madarsa, Musafirkhana, Gandhi Chabutra, Gurudwara, Arya Samaj Yagyashala, Dharmshala & Mandir in close proximity. Womens use to worship chati maiya along the pond side.
Villages

- Sasana Bahadur Pur is a village located four kilometers away from the Belthara Road Railway Station near Akhop village on the intersection between Belthara Road and Madhuban Highway.[2] In this village, you can find the famous temple and Taposthali of Swami SantPati Shiv Narayan Shahib. This village is also home to the prominent Mr. Arjun Singh, Advocate, Mr. Raj Narayan Singh, Executive IAS officer, Dr. Shiv Shankar Singh and Ashok Kumar Singh-General Manager (HR & Admin).
- Birahara: A King Bala Singh and his emperor there are in this village and so many doctors' resident families are belong to spartans community. This village has glory of temple.[3]
- Tirnai Khizarpur: This large village is located four kilometers away with a population of 3,000. It is made-up of 7 pura or mohallas of various faiths. The village is known to promote education and sports among its inhabitants. The people are highly educated and live abroad e.g. UAE, USA, UK, Canada and Australia.[4] It is mostly populated by Muslims who are highly educated. Prominent people who live in this village are Dr. Abdul Ahad Nomani, Mr. Ali Ahmed Khan (Shipping Mech Eng), Iqbal Usmani CEO, Alamgir CEO, Tasleem Ahmed Khan, 'jaadugar' pahalwan Samiullah Nomani,Firoz Nomani, Dangal Singh, Jiacho Ram.
- Babhnauli: This is a small village, approximately 10 km from Belthara Road. Mostly populated by Brahmins who mostly are Zamindars (i.e. Landowners). They are highly educated and some of them even live abroad i.e. London, United Kingdom.[5]
- Rachhawali: This is a small village, approximately 12 km from Belthara Road. Mostly populated by well-educated Muslims and Brahmins.[6] Prominent people in the village include Mr. Irfan Khan, Janishar Akhtar, Md. Hdish, Dr. Farooqe, Qaisar, Kurban, Bake Panday.
- Bithuwa: This village encompasses almost half of the land Belthara Road travels on. The important public places of the town are the bus station, Tin muhani, G.M.A.M. inter college, post office, police chauki, telephone exchange, and hospital. It is situated to the east of the bus station. The population is around 1500.[7]
- Rampur Kanungoyan: Rampur Kanungoyan is a village of the Kayastha community, located 5 km from Belthara Road station. The village is located on the bank of a canal at Rasra-Belthara Road. The village has a high school which serves several neighbouring villages as well.[8]
- Molanapur: This village has a main temple called Shivalla. The nearby village around this town is "Tenua". It is located beside Rampur Kanungoyan village. The famous deity here is Deeh Baba and Baram Baba.
- Eksaray: This is an agricultural village.
- Pharsatar This village is located 3 km. It is a large village of a population of 2,000, mostly girls are here and they believe in love.
- Padari: This village is located a few miles away from the river Ghaghara. It is surrounded by a lake from north and west. Many different species of birds migrate the lake in the rainy season from June to September. The village has several old temples, which are believed to be more than 300 years old.
- Kakrason: This village is situated near Ubhaon Thana and the Sarayu river. Kayasthas are the majority community in this village.
- Telma Jamaludinpur: This village is located a few miles away from the Belthara Road Railway Station. This village is the example of Hindu and Muslim community harmony, located at 8 km from Belthara Road station. This village is famous for the agricultural mainly for crops. The village was established in 1713 {Area-2.5 km^2, Elevation 84 m (276 ft)} and having population of approximately 1,200 (2011).
- Ubhaon: The most famous village in Belthara road area is UbhaonBold text&lat=26.136186&lon=83.865321&z=18&m=b&search=ubhaon. Police station is located on Gorakhpur-Bihar highway. There is a beautiful mosque in this village. Population of this village is 2,000. It is near the Ghaghra river.
- Kundail Niyamat Ali: This is the most famous village near Belthara Road town about 1 km west. This village has given many popular personalities like late Faizul Hasan Sahab former Ppradhan, Haji Abdul Rasheed and late Sultan Ahmed. This village has population about 10,000 with the majority as Muslims. In this village there are three mosques. Jama Masjid is very grand and equipped with modern facilities.
- Shahpur Afghan: This village situated 5.0 km away from Belthararoad towards east near koali mohan taal having population more than 5000.The shahpur Afghan is historical village this village came in to existence during the Mughal period (Aurengjeb emperor) around 450 years old.The Muslim families were arrived there were few members and they belongs to Afghan troops.The village having Shahi Maszid and it was built in Mughal Period still having good conditions.The prominent personalities and great politician like Wazeer Khan, Hidaytullah (Muslim league leader and then after socialist), Rafiullah ( two times MLAfrom siar vidhan sabha)and police officers Anwar Khan, Ashfaque khan, Zainul Abedin Khan, Bhullan Yadav and Vijay Gupta.The younger generation having presence in various countries in middle east and great personality like Jawed Ahmad Studied from Aligharh University (AMU)and he is running his own IT company along with social obligtion worked a lot for Nagar Panchayat Belthararoad and shahpur village upliftment.In this village Hindu communities in majority and good infrastructure under Amberdkar village scheme.
Educational Institutes
- D.A.V. Inter college: This is one of the oldest schools in the city for students in the 6th to 12th grade. It is situated next to the rail station near Railway Dhala.
- G.M.A.M Inter college: This is another one of the oldest schools in the city for class 6th to 12th only for boys, this is situated second side of railway station at Kundail Dhala.
- Shayam Sundari Girls Inter College: One of the oldest and prominent colleges for girls, proudly responsible for major girls education in this area, from 6th class to 12th.
- Devendra P.G. Degree College: This is for higher education in an area on Belthara to Madhuban road next to Ganesh Seva Sansthan.
Entertainment
- Laxmi Narayan Picture Palace: This theater is situated in the main market. It is a favorite past time place in this locality and a major player of Bhojpuri cinema.
- Purvanchal Palace: Situated next to Post office and one of the oldest cinema halls.
