History

Belstone Football Club was formed in 1983. They competed as a Sunday league team for 26 years prior to joining the Herts Senior County League in 2009.[4] The original home of the club was at the GEC London Sports Ground, based in Wembley. However in 1989, GEC decided to sell the ground which is now a housing estate. This resulted in the club playing their home matches at Harrow College, as well as the council ground at Headstone Lane for several seasons. In 1990, Belstone secured a lease on the plot of land known as The Medburn Ground in Radlett, Hertfordshire.[5]

Belstone were accepted into the Herts Senior County League ahead of the 2009/2010 season, making the step up from Sunday football. They spent three seasons in Division One before gaining promotion to the Premier Division in 2012, where they remain to this day. The 2013/2014 saw the club achieve their highest ever league finish, finishing 2nd in the Herts Senior County League Premier Division. In the same season, they won the Herts Senior Centenary Trophy, defeating Sun Sports 1-0.
