General elections were held in Belgium on 24 May 1908.[1] Although the Catholic Party lost their absolute majority in Parliament, they remained the governing party, with François Schollaert retaining the post of Prime Minister. Both the Liberal Party and the Belgian Labour Party gained seats.[2]
