Beideman, Camden
Beideman is an obsolete neighborhood name in the East Camden section of the City of Camden, New Jersey, USA. According to the 2000 U.S. Census, the area once known as Beideman has a population of 5,677. The neighborhood name Beideman originates from a prominent family that lived there, with several notable members including Benjamin C. Beideman and Horace B. Beideman.[1][2] The name Beideman has been frequently misspelled as "Biedman" or "Biedeman". Despite several online maps and sources that unknowingly perpetuate these obsolete neighborhood names, the East Camden neighborhoods of Beideman and Pavonia were long ago superseded by the neighborhood name of Cramer Hill.[3][4]
