Behar Shtylla
Behar Shtylla (Korçë, 1918 – Tirana, 1994) was an Albanian diplomat, member of the CC of the Party of Labour of Albania[1] and three times Foreign Minister of Albania for an overall 13 years period (1953-1966).[2]
Shtylla was one of the most experienced and versatile Albanian diplomats, starting as the preferred person of Enver Hoxha to work in Albania's foreign affairs. His first nomination was as a plenipotentiary ambassador in Paris. In 1953 he replanced Enver Hoxha in the role of the Foreign Minister,[3] which he kept for 13 years and under three different governments until 1966.
