Beeslack Community High School is a non-denominational secondary state school located in Penicuik, Midlothian, Scotland. The school was built in 1984 and covers 17.5 acres (71,000 m2) of ground on the edge of Penicuik at Glencorse.
The school has an indoor swimming pool, gymnasium and a smaller fitness suite. In 2006/7 a bistro was built on the side of the school creating extra eating areas.
The current Headteacher Jim Cassidy began in August 2009 after leaving Gracemount High School.
Beeslack has a school roll of around 800-900 pupils with around 100 teachers. The pupils are separated into year groups which are further divided into registration classes.
The school uniform consists of the whole school wearing black trousers or for girls skirts, shirts and a jumper along with ties. S6 pupils wear modified uniform blazers and prefect ties.
Beeslack has many sports teams including a ski team.
