Beatrice Bolam

Beatrice Bolam, MBE (born 1919 – died 2 January 2013) was an English politician and councillor for Jarrow, South Tyneside. She was a member of the Conservatives since 1939. She stood as a Conservative candidate between 1950-74. She held various positions within the Jarrow Conservative Association, including chair twice and treasurer.[1][2]

Honours

Bolam was appointed MBE and invested at Buckingham Palace. She also received an award for being one of the longest serving members of the Conservative Party in the UK.[1][2]

Death

She died at age 93 and was survived by a brother.[1][2]
