Beaconhouse National University (BNU) is a private liberal arts university located in Lahore, in the province of Punjab, Pakistan.
Founded in 2003 by Beaconhouse School System, it is located at the Raiwind, a subdivision of Lahore District; the BNU campus is adjacent to the Bahria Town.
BNU offers study programmes in Visual Design and Arts, Architecture, Liberal Arts, Computer Information Technology and Mass Communication. It is also a member of Higher Education Commission and Association of Commonwealth Universities.[1]

Mariam Dawood School of Visual Arts & Design
The School of Visual Arts & Design (SVAD) is the oldest department at BNU.
Razia Hassan School of Architecture
The School of Architecture (SA) was instituted in 2004.
School of Computer & Information Technology
School of Computer & IT offers bachelor Degrees in Software Engineering, Management Business Computing & Master in Information Systems.
Seeta Majeed School of Social Sciences
SMSS offers three undergraduate programs leading to the BSc (Honours) degree in Economics & Business Economics, Journalism and Literature, as well as a combined programs in Television & Film theater in conjunction with the Economics Department.
Institute of Psychology
The Institute of Psychology at the Beaconhouse National University was established in 2004.

BNU was given, in February 2008, the highest status (Category 'W') by the Higher Education Commission in its ranking of universities in Pakistan.
