El Hadji Baye Oumar Niasse (born 18 April 1990) is a Senegalese footballer who plays for FC Lokomotiv Moscow as a winger or striker. He is known for his pace, strength and high work rate.

Club career

After impressing in US Ouakam's league-winning season and with Senegal's Olympic side, Niasse earned a trial with Brann in February 2012.[1] In his two games on trial, Niasse showed the pace expected of him, leading Brann manager Rune Skarsfjord to boast of his pace[2] and sections of the media to call on his immediate signing.[3] His trial period was extended until 20 February, when he signed on a six-month loan with Brann, after which he will either return to Senegal or sign a two-and-a-half year contract with the Bergen club.[4]

In the first half of the 2013-14 campaign, Niasse impressed the crowd with his terrific performance against the likes of Galatasaray[5] and Trabzonspor.[6]
