Overview

Developed as a residential subdivision in 1954, Bayberry contains over 200 homes, 60 acres of undeveloped forest and an 8 1/2 acre park on the shore of Sheldrake Lake. Bayberry is dominated by one family ranch, split-level, and modern style homes on wooded plots varying in size from one-quarter to a full acre. The community originally attracted attention as the only new home colony in Westchester with its own recreation facilities including swimming pools, tennis courts, a playground and day camp, and a clubhouse.[6] The facilities are funded and maintained by the homeowners association.
