Battle of Montevideo (1843)

The Battle of Montevideo was a conflict in the Uruguayan Civil War during August 1843.
The battle was fought between the Colorados, and the Blancos of Uruguay. The Colorados were led by Venancio Flores, while the Blancos were led by General Medina. The battle resulted in a victory of the Blancos.
