Egino, Duke of Thuringia | Zoltán of Hungary |
The Battle of Eisenach in 908,[1] was a decisive victory by a Hungarian army over a German army composed of troops from Franconia, Saxony and Thuringia.
Egino, Duke of Thuringia was killed, along with Burchard, Duke of Thuringia and Rudolf I, Bishop of Würzburg.[2]
At this time the Grand Prince of Hungary was Zoltán of Hungary, however there is no evidence of him taking part in the battle.
