It has a staff of more than 200 professionals[4] with half of them engaged in Research and Development. The company is headquartered in Laguna Hills, California, USA and has offices in New York, India, New Zealand and Mexico.

BatchMaster Software has a long history[5] of serving the process manufacturing industry since its inception. Strong associations with both Microsoft[6] and SAP have seen it grow and maintain its leadership in the mid-market for this sector.

History

BatchMaster was founded by Randy Peck as Pacific Micro Software Engineering and later changed the name to BatchMaster DOS. In 2000, the Company was acquired by eWorkplace Solutions and was reincorporated as BatchMaster Software.[7][8] The company then started the project to come up with Windows based application software. In 2001, Infocus Solutions Pvt. Ltd. (ISPL) was formed in Indore, India to finish the project. ISPL started its operation with a team of seven people and within four years more than hundred people were working for the organization. The Company formally announced its India operations in 2006 and changed the name to BatchMaster Software Pvt. Ltd.[9]

BatchMaster has formed strong partnerships with both Microsoft Corporation and SAP, while continuing to focus entirely on the process/recipe-based manufacturing industry.[1][12][13]

Management

Dr. Sahib Dudani

Dr. Sahib DudaniPage text.[14] is the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and President of BatchMaster Software. He leads the development and business teams of the organization. Dr. Dudani started his career in 1973 as a Research Scientist with Hughes Research Laboratories in Malibu, California. For a period of five years, he served as a high-level consultant to numerous corporations in the Aerospace industry to help formulate their R&D programs in the image-processing field. He founded Advanced Technology Center in 1979. He is the original architect for Advanced Technology Center's flagship product GRAFPAK-GKS. He has also worked for March FIRST, formerly US Web/CKS as an Executive Partner in the late 1990s. In 1997, when his company acquired BatchMaster DOS, he had over 20 years of successful experience in the software industry, both as an entrepreneur-business founder and as a technical innovator for new software products. He has written numerous papers in the area of Pattern Recognition and Image Analysis.

He holds Masters and Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from Ohio State University, Columbus, Ohio and his Bachelors of Technology - Electrical Engineering from Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Bombay.[14]

Sanjay Panjwani

Sanjay Panjwani is the Managing Director and Vice President Operations of BatchMaster Software.[8] As a Mechanical Engineer, he had over twenty years of experience in manufacturing industry before he ventured in IT industry.[9]
