Bascote

Bascote is a very small village in rural Warwickshire, England. The nearest town is Southam, 1.5 miles away. Bascote consists of a small number of large houses and a telephone box. Nearby is the upmarket and extremely prestigious village of Bascote Heath it is on an even longer road home to a few country mansions, one with a swimming pool, pond, triple garage, office, large landscaped garden, balcony and a snooker room with bar facility, several country cottages, farms, a war memorial, and the Fox and Hen public house.
Environmental issues
Unfortunately, the planned HS2 rail line will be under the Bascote Woods affecting many of Bascote Heath's residents. As a result of this, house prices will drop, and a considerable amount of distress has been made regarding the situation.
