Barry Anderson (born in Atlanta, Georgia)[1] is an American football official in the National Football League (NFL) since the 2007 NFL season, who wears uniform number 20. He started out as a side judge and became a field judge in 2011. For the 2014 NFL season, he is the field judge on the crew headed by referee Ron Torbert.[2]
Anderson has officiated in four playoff games over his NFL career.[3]
In the 2014 preseason, Anderson auditioned for the referee position for future job openings.[4]
Outside of the NFL, Anderson is a builder and developer.
