Baroda House was the residence of the Maharaja of Baroda in Delhi. It is located on Kasturba Gandhi Marg, next to Faridkot House.

It was designed by the architect of New Delhi, Sir Edwin Lutyens. He designed the house on a train and it took 15 years to complete in 1936.[2][3] Presently it is being used as the Zonal Headquarters Office of Northern Railways.

After the candidates qualify the recruitment exams this department deals with their employment related procedures i.e. sending attestation forms to qualified candidates, sending filled attestation forms by candidates to district headquarters, educational institutes etc. for character verification and document verification. After these verification being done candidates are sent offer letters for joining these letters are sent by this department.
