Barnsley Metropolitan Borough Council election, 2015

The 2015 Barnsley Metropolitan Borough Council election is scheduled to take place on 7 May 2015 to elect members of Barnsley Metropolitan Borough Council in England.[1] This is on the same day as other local elections. A significant number of councillors are retiring at this election. They are: Cllr Betty Barlow (Worsborough); Cllr Tracey Cheetham (Roystone); Cllr Brian Key (Darfield); and Cllr Tom Sheard (Kingstone) from the Labour Party; Cllr Dave North (North East) and Cllr Brian Perrin (Dodworth) from the Barnsley Independent Group; and Cllr Anne Rusby (Penistone West) from the Conservatives.
