Barøy Lighthouse (Norwegian: Barøy fyr) is a lighthouse in the municipality of Ballangen in Nordland county, Norway. The lighthouse is located on the northwestern shore of the island of Barøya in the entrance to the Ofotfjorden. The 27.5-metre (90 ft) tall lighthouse was built in 1903 and it was automated in 1980. The occulting light flashes red, white, or green depending on the direction from which it is viewed. The light can be seen for up to 12.7 nautical miles (23.5 km; 14.6 mi).[1][2]
