Banjane

Banjane or Banjani (Macedonian Cyrillic: Бањане, Бањани) is a village in the Republic of Macedonia, part of the Čučer-Sandevo municipality.

The village lies some 15 kilometers north of Skopje, in the region of Skopska Crna Gora. The population is 597 (2002 census) and of mixed ethnic origin - Macedonian (294), Serb (288) and others (5).

Banjane is best known for its three churches, Saint Nicetas and Saint Elias from 14th century and Saint George from 16th century.
