Bango plc
Bango provides technology that enables commerce on the mobile web. The company is listed on the London Stock Exchange (ticker symbol BGO.L).
Bango products allow the collection of payment for on-line content and services, and provide web analytics for mobile marketing campaigns and sites.
Bango provides the Mobile Payment Platform that powers the BlackBerry App World.[1] In June 2011, Bango also announced that it would provide the Mobile Payment Platform for the Opera Mobile Store.[2] Recently, Facebook has made a tie-up with Bango for the mobile payment services on the social networking website. In 2014 Bango are hoping to provide a payment platform to Apple, which would be a huge shift in the stance that Apple have had in the past at keeping everything in house. Amazon are another that Bango will be looking to provide a payment platform.
