Banco de Crédito de Bolivia

Banco de Credito de Bolivia is a bank company situated in the South American country of Bolivia. It is an international subsidiary of Banco de Credito de Peru.

History

In 1993, Banco de Credito de Peru, also known as BCP, bought over Banco Popular de Bolivia, marking the Peruvian bank's first foray into the Bolivian banking market. BCP proceeded to buy Banco de La Paz (headquartered in La Paz) in 1998, and then Banco Boliviano Americano in 1999. Banco de Credito de Peru then decided to merge the three brands in 2000, forming Banco de Credito de Bolivia.[1] (in Spanish)

During 2011, the company expanded to include eight extra branches, distributed between Santa Cruz, La Paz and Cochabamba.[2] (in Spanish)

Avion Pirata
