Bamangola (community development block) is an administrative division in Malda Sadar subdivision of Malda district in the Indian state of West Bengal. Bamangola police station serves this block. Headquarters of this block is at Pakuahat.[1]

Gram panchayats of Bamangola block/ panchayat samiti are: Madnabati, Gobindapur-Maheshpur, Chandpur, Jagdala, Bamangola and Pakuahat.[3]
Demographics
As per 2001 census, Bamangola block has a total population of 127,156, out of which 65,196 were males and 61,960 were females. Of the total population 63,459 were scheduled castes and 25,083 were scheduled tribes. Bamangola registered a population growth of 18.2 per cent during the 1991-2001 decade.[2][4]
