Ballagarey Corner, Isle of Man

Ballagarey Corner (Manx: Bailey ny liargee - farm of the slope)[1] is situated between the 3rd Milestone and 4th Milestone road-side markers on the Snaefell Mountain Course used for the Isle of Man TT Races on the primary A1 Douglas to Peel road in the parish of Marown in the Isle of Man.

As part of a Ribbon development, Ballagarey Corner is situated on the eastern edge of Glen Vine and Crosby villages on the primary A1 road in the Peel to Douglas central valley. The nearby area is mainly farmland including Baldwin Valley and the nearby summits of Greeba Mountain (422 m), Slieau Ruy (479 m), Colden (487 m) and Slieu Ree (316 m) near to Keppel Gate. Ballagarey Corner was part of the Four Inch Course used for the Tourist Trophy automobile car races held in the Isle of Man between 1905 and 1922. Also, Ballagarey Corner was part of the course used for 1905 International Motor-Cycle Cup Races held in the Isle of Man. It is part of the Snaefell Mountain Course used since 1911 for the Isle of Man TT and from 1923 for the Manx Grand Prix Races.
