Balaji Institute of Modern Management (BIMM) (formerly known as Indian Institute of Modern Management (IIMM) is a private business school in Pune, India.
History
Balaji Institute Of Modern Management, formerly known as IIMM, is a decade old management institute founded in 1999. BIMM (Approved by AICTE, Ministry of HRD, Govt. of India), run by Sri Balaji Society which is governed by the President, A. Balasubramanian. Prof. Bala is also the Executive Director of BIMM. The full-time faculties and veterans from the industry who are fully involved in the training/ grooming process of the students are from the who's who from the industry.
Campus
Combined campus of Sri Balaji Society, Pune spread over a 16.5-acre (67,000 m2) area overlooking the city of Pune, the BIMM campus is situated on Mumbai-Bangalore By-Pass Highway. Apart from the state-of-the-art classrooms and conference halls, the campus has facilities which include:
- A Central Library which has over 1,00,000 books, reports, journals, periodicals, CDs and video cassettes.
- Separate in-campus hostels for boys and girls with all the necessary amenities.
- An Auditorium which is used to host national and international events.
- A Health Care Centre, which has an on-call doctor.
- A multicuisine Canteen and Mess which offer plenty of options in dining.
- The campus also has a Recreational Centre, Gymnasium and Swimming Pool to help students relax and rejuvenate.
Programmes offered
- BIMM offers a two year Management Diploma programmes (Approved by AICTE) for residential students,
- Post Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM): Two year full-time and residential with specializations provided in Human Resources, Marketing, Finance, Systems and Operations.
- Post Graduate Diploma in Information Technologies & Marketing Management (PGDM – IT & Marketing): Two year full-time
- Post Graduate Diploma in Human Resource Management (PGDHRM): Two year full-time
