Baja Broadband is a cable television provider based in Alamogordo, New Mexico with subscribers in Arizona, Colorado, Nevada, New Mexico, Texas and Utah. The company was acquired Aug. 2, 2013[1] and now a wholly owned subsidiary of Telephone and Data Systems, Inc. [NYSE: TDS], a Fortune 1000 company. It was formerly known as Orange Broadband until 2007. Most of Baja Broadband's systems are former Charter Communications systems acquired in 2006[2] and US Cable systems acquired in 2011.[3]
