Bailando 2012 was the eight season of Bailando por un Sueño. The season premiere was on June 11, 2012, in El Trece and was hosted by Marcelo Tinelli.[1]

The jury were Carmen Barbieri, Anibal Pachano, Antonio Gasalla, Moria Casán, Flavio Mendoza and Marcelo Polino.[2][3][4] This was Gasalla's first time as a permanent judge, after being a guest judge in the fifth season, but in the round 10 Antonio left Bailando 2012.[5] Santiago Bal was confirmed as a judge too, but he renounced before the beginning of the show, due to a request from his son, Federico Bal, who was a contestant.[6]

This was the first season to feature three disabled contestants; Noelia Pompa (dwarfism), Ayelén Barreiro (down syndrome) and Reinaldo Ojeda (amputee leg).[7] Verónica Perdomo is not included in this group of disabled contestants, but she's also an special case, as she is a CVD survivor.[8]

Hernán Piquín & Noelia Pompa were the winners for second time after winning Bailando 2011.
