Bahrain Specialist Hospital

The Bahrain Specialist Hospital (BSH) is a comprehensive acute care medical center in the Kingdom of Bahrain. BSH is supported by shareholders from Bahrain, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, the United Arab Emirates and Qatar. It is directed by Chief Executive Officer Dr. Kasim Ardati, and was opened in October 2002.[1] Dr. Najah Al Zayyani is credited with founding the hospital.

The hospital provides ten medical specialties,[1] as well as psychiatric and dental care, nutrition and health sciences and plastic surgery. It has 83 private inpatient beds, 12 day surgery beds and a six-patient intensive care ward.
