Bahjoi is a town and a municipal board in Sambhal district in the state of Uttar Pradesh, India. It is in Chandausi tehsil.
Geography
Bahjoi is located at 28°23′35″N 78°37′23″E / 28.393°N 78.623°E. It has an average elevation of 655 metres (1540 feet).
Demographics
As of 2001 India census,[1] Bahjoi had a population of 29,993. Males constitute 59% of the population and females 48%. Bahjoi has an average literacy rate of 52%, lower than the national average of 59.5%; with 60% of the males and 40% of females literate. 18% of the population is under 6 years of age.
