Badger Trust
The Badger trust, earlier (the National federation of badger groups),[1] is a British animal welfare charity.[2] It represents around sixty badger groups.[3] The trust has been campaigning against measures that involve killing of thousands badgers each year.[4] Such measures have been undertaken, against science and evidence showing this will not work and has been proven to be inhumane, in order to protect the interests of the National Farmers' Union.[5]
