"Baby Don't Cry" is a song by Japanese recording artist Namie Amuro, released on January 24, 2007 under Avex Trax, eight months after her last single "Can't Sleep, Can't Eat, I'm Sick/Ningyo".
Overview
The title track is a midtempo pop song produced by recent collaborator, Nao'ymt. The b-side track, "Nobody", was originally supposed to be included on the "White Light/Violet Sauce" single, but was removed before the single's release. "Nobody" is described as a direct sequel to "White Light" with which it shares an almost identical composition. The melody is altered in the verses but is identical in the prechorus and the chorus.
Upon release, the single became her best selling single for its first week on the Oricon Charts since "Say the word" in 2001. After two weeks, it had already outsold her last single of 2005, "White Light/Violet Sauce", and her last single, "Can't Sleep, Can't Eat, I'm Sick/Ningyo". It sold 108,562 copies after four weeks on the charts and outsold "Want Me, Want Me" and "Girl Talk/The Speed Star". "Baby Don't Cry" eventually sold 144,081 copies during its fourteen week chart run, making this her best selling single since "Say the Word".

"Baby Don't Cry" is being used as the theme song to the drama Himitsu no Hanazono. It is also being used for JoySound CMs.
