Będzino [bɛnˈd͡ʑinɔ] (German: Alt Banzin) is a village in Koszalin County, West Pomeranian Voivodeship, in north-western Poland. It is the seat of the gmina (administrative district) called Gmina Będzino.[1] It lies approximately 13 kilometres (8 mi) west of Koszalin and 128 km (80 mi) north-east of the regional capital Szczecin.

Before 1945 the area of Farther Pomerania, where the village is located, was part of Germany. Following World War II the native German populace was expelled and replaced by Poles. For the history of the region, see History of Pomerania.
