Sri Ayyanarappan Temple and Sri Vana pathrakali Amman Temple is one of the Ancient Temple which is older than 700 years ago. Now this is managed by Sri Ayyanarappan Arakattalai (Registered) We believe that the Pallava kings honored him and worshipped here. This temple is in the midst of dense forest and fully protected by the Reserve Forest force. More and more pilgrims worships here.

The Vanapathra kali Amman is here as a Santha sorooby and at the same time behaves as ukkira moothy. She is having eight hands and having a different kind of posture as you cannot find anywhere. The Goddess is under the special Sweet Neem Tree.
