Ayoola Framework is a Cross-platform content management framework (CMS) for publishing web content. It is a multi-purpose web application that was launched on January 24, 2011 under the name Vanity Web.
Ayoola Framework is written in PHP, uses object-oriented programming (OOP) techniques and software design patterns, and includes features such as page caching, blogs, polls. For storing data, It uses an in-built XML Database that enables it to work independently. In the earlier release of Ayoola Framework, it used MySQL to enable it perform some advanced operations that was not yet available on the in-built database.
Later versions of Ayoola Framework are developed to be suitable for management of dedicated servers or virtual private servers
History
Development of Ayoola Framework started in Ibadan, Nigeria on the 24th of January, 2011 by the Founder and President of Ayoola Online, Ayoola Falola. At that time, Ayoola Framework was only used as an "in house" web hosting management software. It was also used as a [Do it yourself]] software for Website development."
