Avenues is an American pop punk band formed in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, in 2009.[1]

The band consists of Vin Smith, Joel Maske, Shawn Brooks and Scott Brooks.[2] The bands last couple albums, "Creep Show" and "Post Cards from Ann Arbor", were recorded and produced with help from Alkaline Trio producer Matt Allison at Atlas Studios in Chicago, IL.[3] The EP is best described as Midwestern punk. Pop laden songs with angsty blue collar lyrics and plenty of whoa oh’s.[4]

Their song "Hold Me" was featured on episode 2 of the MTV reality series The Real World: St. Thomas in 2012.[5]

Avenues have performed with acts such as, Buzzcocks, Bob Mould, Strung Out, Less Than Jake, Masked Intruder, Red City Radio, The Gamits, Mustard Plug and Direct Hit.
