Autumn Hill is a Canadian country music duo composed of Mike Robins (from Toronto, Ontario) and Tareya Green (from Calgary, Alberta).[1] Their debut single, "Anything At All," entered the Canadian Hot 100 in January 2013.[2] It is included on their debut album Favourite Mistake, released September 10, 2013.[3][4][5] With two of their singles gaining substantial airplay on boh country and adult contemporary formats, the group has been touted as the first Canadian country act to successfully crossover to pop radio since Shania Twain.[6][7]
Band Members
Mike Robins
Robins grew up just outside of Toronto and listened to his father’s classic-rock collection. He gigged throughout high school and university as a singer/songwriter. He eventually landed a spot in 2010 backing up with singer/songwriter Hope on a year-long tour through North America and Europe. He then worked with producers on his own solo songs, L.A. and then in Nashville. He found a passion for country guitar led to the 2011 solo single “No Mercy,” which topped the Heart Radio charts.
Tareya Green
Green studied multi-media at Southern Alberta Institute of Technology (SAIT) in Calgary, Alberta and was developing websites for famous entertainers. As a girl she had a passion for songwriting and playing the piano. She began posting homemade performances on YouTube, where Wax Records co-founder Jamie Appleby heard her talented vocals online. She was asked to travel to Toronto to explore her musical talent further. In January 2012 she moved to Toronto.
