Magic Giant

In early 2014, Bis formed the folk revival band Magic Giant. The trio has played Los Angeles venues such as the Troubadour,[15] Roxy Theatre,[16] and Chris Douridas’s (KCRW) “School Night!” at Bardot,[17] and toured the US including a stop at New York City's Mercury Lounge.[18] Often described as "rave folk,"[19][20][21] the band’s forthcoming EP features Dave Matthews Band’s Rashawn Ross and Capital Cities’ Spencer Ludwig.[22] The group has shared the stage with Mike Posner and The Lumineers’ Stelth Ulvang.[23][1][24] The band has been played on KCRW [25] and KEXP (including the debut live performance of 2015 on "The Morning Show" hosted by John Richards),[26] and was ranked between Magic! and Tiësto on MetroLyrics’ “What’s Trending”.[27] Its latest release, "Let It Burn," was called "a summer festival anthem" by NPR.[28] Billboard announced the group was a New Music Seminar 'Artist on the Verge' Class of 2015, with past artists including Macklemore, Banks, and Fitz and The Tantrums. [29]

Get Well Soon Tour

In 2011, Bis teamed up with Grammy-nominated producer, Benny Blanco to create the non-profit, Get Well Soon Tour, which aims to bring joy to children in hospitals through surprise visits from superstar musicians around the US.[7] Since their first visit with Justin Bieber on Valentine's Day, 2011,[30] the “tour” has brought artists like Bruno Mars, Pitbull, Britney Spears, John Legend, Robin Thicke, FUN., and Maroon 5. [31] [32] [33] [34] In 2013, Get Well Soon Tour got several patients backstage access at The Grammys to meet The Black Keys, B.O.B. and Miranda Lambert. [4]
