Austin Bide

Sir Austin Ernest Bide (11 September 1915 - 11 May 2008) was a British chemist and industrialist. He was president of Glaxo from 1973 to 1985, and chairman of British Leyland from 1984 to 1986. He was knighted in 1980. He died in St. Anthony's Hospital of bronchopneumonia after suffering from a stroke.[1]
