Aura Kingdom also known as Fantasy Frontier Online (Chinese: 幻想神域) in Taiwan and Hong Kong and "Innocent World" in Japan, is a game made by the Taiwanese game developer X-Legend and has been published by Aeria Games. It is a free-to-play game that was announced on August 12, 2013 at Otakon 2013.[1] Attendees at Otakon were given beta key for the MMO.

Overview

Aura Kingdom has graphics similar to Aeria's other anime-inspired MMOS: Grand Fantasia and Eden Eternal. Players can download the game at the Aeria Games official website.[2][3]

The closed beta test for Aura Kingdom began on December 23, 2013 at approx. 8pm EST.[4]

The open beta test for Aura Kingdom began on January 6, 2014.

Classes

As of now, there are currently 12 classes in Aura Kingdom. These classes are

- Guardian, who uses a sword and shield with the highest base defense (DEF).

- Duelist, who duel wields two short swords, with a high base evasive (EVA) matched only by the Ronin.

- Ravager, who carries a two-handed axe, dealing high damage with their attacks.

- Wizard, who uses a staff to project magical attacks, the attacks being mostly elemental.

- Sorcerer, who casts runes from ancient tomes and grimoires(books), giving debuffs to enemies.

- Bard, who plays songs on their harps to boosts allies stats and debuff enemies.

- Grenadier, who wields a cannon, and also have the ability to build turrets and other devices to support their allies in combat.

- Gunslinger, who duel wields pistols, dealing high damage with their fast fire rate.

- Brawler, who wields a set of blade claws, attacking with quick reflex and reaction time.

- Ranger, who wields an enchanted bow, with the ability to charge up their skills for a more powerful attack.

- Ronin, who wields a Katana/Tachi, dealing some of the highest damage to a single target.

- Necromancer, who wields a scythe, with the ability to summon "pets" to support them in combat, much like the Grenadier and their turrets.

Critical reception

Games In Asia rated the game 6.1/10, noting a strong storyline, well-done anime-style character designs and impressive graphics. But noted a lack of dungeons and unchallenging gameplay as weak points of the game.[5]
