(NASDAQ: ATTU) is a global leading information management service provider.[2][3] In 2014, the company was listed by CRN Magazine as one of the annual 100 most innovative and cloud vendors and solutions in the industry. Its product, Attunity CloudBeam software, was awarded as the Coolest Cloud Vendor.[4] The products and services of the company have been applied at thousands of organizations worldwide including government, financial institutions, manufacturers, retailers, pharmaceuticals, etc.[5]
Background
Attunity, Ltd was founded as ISG International Software Group under the law of Israel in 1988 and it operates the business in U.S. through the wholly owned subsidiary, Attunity Inc, based in Massachusetts.[6] Its services encompass information replication, storage, integration, transferring, cloud solutions, etc. The company is based in Kfar Saba, Israel and maintains a strategic partnership with Microsoft, IBM, Oracle, HP, etc.[3]
In 1992, Attunity has an initial public offering on NASDAQ raising $12 million and started trading under the ticker symbol SISG. The company changed its name to Attunity on July 31, 2000 and its stock now trades on NASDAQ under the symbol ATTU.
On December 12, 2013, the company cooperated with Amazon Web Services to present in Live Webinar, which is an important activity to celebrate big data load to cloud.[2]
On February 27, 2014, the company hosted webinar on Harnessing Big Data from the 'Industrial Internet of Things' (IIoT)[7]
Acquisitions
In September 2011, Attunity acquired RepliWeb for $7.8m,[8] a company that develops Web content deployment,[9] file synchronization, managed file transfer, and SharePoint application lifecycle solutions.[10] RepliWeb’s commercial products include RepliWeb Deployment (R-1), RepliWeb Managed File Transfer (R-MFT), RepliWeb Operations Suite for SharePoint (ROSS), and RepliWeb Directory Synchronization (RDS). The acquisition enabled Attunity to offer a full portfolio of data management, integration, replication and deployment solutions.[11]
In December 2013, the company completed the acquisition of Hayes Technology Group Inc.[12]
