Atthidographer
Atthidographer (Ancient Greek: Ἀτθιδογράφος, atthidographos) is the name given to a historian who wrote an Atthis, a work on the history of Athens.[1] The first Athenian to attempt this kind of history was Kleidemos. He was then followed by Androtion, Phanodemos, Demon, and Melanthios. The last Atthidographer was Philochorus.[2] The genre in which these authors worked is referred to as Atthidography.
