Atreyapuram (Atreya-puram [ ఆత్రేయపురం / ఆత్రేయపురము ]) is a village and a Mandal in East Godavari district of Andhra Pradesh state in India.[1]
It is famous for its sweet, "Pootharekulu" made of rice starch."Pootareku" and "Mamiditandra" are born in Atreyapuram 100 years back , first person to make and sell them was Mudunuri Akki Raju.

Atreyapuram is one of the towns in Atreyapuram mandal, East Godavari district, Andhra Pradesh state. Atreyapuram is located 25 km from Rajahmundry City and 90 km distance from Kakinada.
