Atmakur is a village and mandal in Warangal district from the state of Telangana in India.[1]

Geography

Its history dates back to 1000 years approximately. It is about 20 km away from the Warangal city on the way to Mulug. It has famous ancient building called Desai-Gadi where film shoots are done frequently. A high school was established in 1950 in this village and it is the second biggest ZPSS School in the district. Most of the villagers are farmers apartment from the other people [sicsic]. There are few temples which were established very long time back. There is a mosque and a church in the village. This village has two water reservoirs. And the people are making use of them. There is public library. There are a few private schools.
